ALL, Inc. began in 1947 when Sherman Rutzick founded Apartment Laundry Lessors (ALL), leasing appliances to apartment buildings and commercial properties while also launching his own chain of coin-operated laundries.
In 1989, Sherman’s son Mark joined the business, and together they expanded into appliance sales, quickly becoming one of the nation’s leading wholesalers of laundry appliances. Their strong buying power and dedication to exceptional customer service inspired them to open their doors to homeowners across the Twin Cities.
The family tradition continued in 2003 when Mark’s son, Ryan, came on board and spearheaded growth in the multi-family new construction market. As their business evolved, so did their vision—transforming their St. Paul location into a full kitchen destination with over 30 live kitchens featuring cabinetry, countertops, and appliances from top-tier brands.
In 2021, ALL, Inc. became an employee-owned company as part of Building Material Distributors, Inc., reinforcing their commitment to service and community.
