Yorktowne Adds To Color Palette With New Finishes

Wood tones are again gaining popularity as accents colors for cabinetry in the home. Accent colors are often used on Islands, hoods, or a section of tall cabinets to create a focal point in the kitchen. Warm neutral wood tones are especially inviting and along with black wood tones are expected to increase in use in 2024 and into 2025. Greens will continue to expand, with the colors being darker and richer, more organic in tone. With these trends increasing Yorktowne Cabinetry has introduced several new stain and paint colors to their finish palette.

Night Sky

Homeowners are now looking for a bolder take on neutral. How about blue? Much like the versatility of denim, designers are finding blue is a willing companion in just about every setting. Maybe unexpectedly, blue is the new neutral. Not just any blue—but the deepest of blues. This rich, blue stain offers up a color statement while still allowing homeowners to showcase the beauty of their cabinetry’s woodgrain. Night Sky captures the calm of evenings away from the city and under the stars. Shown below is the Yorktowne Belfast door style with Night Sky on Quartersawn Oak. Also available on Cherry, Oak, Hickory, and Knotty Alder.

Pistachio

Pistachio is a mild, easy green. This color upgrades the grey or beige neutral with a touch of color that can be the highlight of any kitchen. This new color carries a heritage look that will have everyone feeling right at home. Pistachio is offered on Maple or Paint Grade material in any door style offered in these species.

Available in Iconic and Historic lines on Maple and Paint Grade species.

Coffee Break

The definition of a Coffee Break is a short period for rest and refreshments. To Yorktowne Cabinetry, Coffee Break is the darkest of brown paint colors to create and encourage a casual atmosphere. This soothing color offers an alternative to neutral black’s and is perfect for designs steeped in natural wood and organic-inspired textures. This color achieves balance and pairs well with neutral, lighter stain and paint tones.

Available on Maple and Paint Grade species.

Shadow

A softer, more approachable option to true black, Shadow’s on-trend appeal looks fantastic and performs beautifully in clean minimalist and modern Nordic and Hygge designs. An eye-catching neutral, Shadow is slightly opaque and muted in appearance, yet offer and approachably bold style statement. Shadow can be perfectly paired with mid-tone stains or soft paints in both modern and transitional door styles to complement any room filled with other natural elements with outdoor influences.

Available on Maple and Paint Grade species.

The Woodland Oaks Collection

The Woodland Oaks Collection delivers a long-requested and highly anticipated finish that will help homeowners achieve premium appeal at a pleasing price. This propriety stain technique reduces the red in red oak—a widely available wood species—to create the look of popular but scarce white oak, and offer homeowners and designers alike a more affordable, sustainable alternative. The Woodland Oaks Collection is available in four handsome stains: Lynx, Kestrel, Marten and Caribou.
